Hopping around on the path; L2D19

Today is the last day of Auckland's Level 3 lockdown. At midnight, we go to what is being called Level 2.5. Some Level 3 restrictions will remain, and others will be lifted.

I went for a walk around Western Springs Lake this afternoon, and was fortunate to see a chaffinch only a few metres in front of me on the path. A woman coming the other way apologised for scaring away a pukeko and spoiling my photo. I reassured her that I was taking photos of the chaffinch, which hadn't been as flighty as the pukeko.
