The Crossing.....

Early this morning Maisie and I walked upstream from the Omaka Ford and Culverts to the Meadowbank Station Bridge. Due to recent rain raising the water levels in the river we were unable to cross via the stepping stones. So we used the bridge. Once over the river Maisie, undeterred, decided she’d have a go at crossing on the stones. She didn’t get far!
This evening Keith and I drove to the airport to pick up daughter, Margaret who is visiting for a few days.
