Little London..

On our morning town centre walk today it was interesting to discover this unusual street sign which is all that remains of a hidden alleyway found just out of Wigan town centre. Nothing remains of the original area which was once teeming with life and which harks back to a time when families were crowded into slum dwellings. A forgotten part of the town’s rich history.
