The One That (May Have) Got Away

Mr Flum asked had I seen the front lawn - I 'must have noticed' when I had been next door to feed the cat...
But this incident happened later - feathers all over the front lawn and this scattering of down in the gap near the fence, but no corpse body to be seen.
Who to blame? Any one of the four cats, and they aren't telling.
