All the sheep...
Have lost Bo Peep
And don't know where to find her.
She'll be in her bunk
Still drunk as a skunk
from Newcastle Brown Ale and cider!
Boom boom!
And so dawned another fabulous day here in Northumberland.
We were up a bit earlier today. David and Lola were on the beach by 8am and it was lovely and quiet (just other dog walkers there) so she got off lead. He sent lots of photos and videos of her clearly having a ball.
They walked from Bamburgh to Seahouses and back and as well as making lots of new dog friends, she had fun dodging the waves. She went in up to the tops of her legs but no interest in going in any further. David was relieved as he had visions of having to wade in to rescue her!
Home in time for lunch and a play with Paige, the black lab in the cottage next door, before we headed out to drive back along the coast line adding Embleton, Craster, Dunstanburgh , Howick and Bulmer to our travels.
On the way back we saw a man riding a horse along the roadside with a little dog scurrying along behind them. Ever had a situation where you see something for a spit second and you find it hilariously funny, but you're not sure why? Well that was me when I saw the man, the horse and the wee dog. I think it was its wee legs jumping along trying to keep up with the horse. It just tickled my funny bone :-))
Back in time for the Tesco delivery man who was very nice and Lola was very keen to introduce herself to him. We've also been visited by a herd of cows and all the sheeps! Lola loves the cows but no interest in the sheep.
Shopping all put away so G&T time whilst I make dinner of steak baguettes with garlic, onions, mushrooms, mayo and chilli jam. Yum :-)))
And dream of sheep...
