Deserted

Every year it is the same.  Come the end of August, the tourists disappear and we are left with wonderful peace and quiet.  We do get September tourists, but they are silver haired couples and much quieter.  We walked around Saint Céré this morning and the Place du Mercadial was deserted, not like last week when it was humming with al fresco diners.
