Deer In The Distance

Ollie dog and I had a short chat with the farmer at Lodge Farm today. He said the harvest is the worst for forty years. Such a shame that the wedding and events business his daughter recently started has been stopped in its tracks by the pandemic. 

The oats have been harvested from the field in my image and the straw was being turned by a machine pulled behind a tractor. That is what probably spooked the deer and got them running.
