Belted Up

A domestic morning, followed by the Belgian Grand Prix this afternoon.  Spa is a wonderful circuit, but today's race was not especially exciting. Later this afternoon, some cutting back in the garden and mowing the lawn. 

This evening it was time to go the Proms.  This is the first year for a very long time that we have not been able to visit the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.  However, the BBC did broadcast a concert from the hall, with the LSO conducted by Simon Rattle.  Odd to see the members of the orchestra socially isolated from each other in an otherwise deserted venue.

A quick hand-held blip tonight.  I really should have got the tripod out: this is not bitingly sharp.
