A day at the seaside

It looked like a lot of people had decided to come to Budleigh for a day at the seaside. Given the lovely weather and calm sea as well as being a bank holiday it wasn’t surprising. I just popped down for a quick stroll as l had spent several hours in the morning buying a new bed and an extra mattress. They should really have been replaced some time ago.

Later this afternoon our daughter and family arrived and we had a lovely evening meal. It’s surprising how much our grandson has developed in the past 10 days. He sits more confidently, is almost crawling and is developing his vocal sounds. Lovely to see him again.
