Maids gift

My best friend got married this year. He gave me these seeds as a gift for being his witness. His family came here from England. His English grandfather had a hand in developing the Alderman shelling peas. I loved the gift and planted some today in my garden. I have never planted fall peas. I'm not sure it is actually done in this area but I just could not wait until spring. I have another bag to plant in the spring though! We planted more kale and will plant the last variety as soon as I get the last raised bed cleaned out.I'm a little late this year but found it hard to pull out tomatoes and peppers and other veggies that were doing so well to make the room for fall crops.
