Walking Through the Kanuka

It was exceedingly windy at the meeting spot, so most of the walkers decided to go for coffee, while 5 of us decided to walk along The Outlet Track.  There was no wind along the track, so turned out to be a great walk.  We stopped at a sheltered and sunny picnic table for lunch, before heading back to the cars.  Extra 1.  The second extra is of the walkers on the track.  The third extra is of the waves at Roy's Bay.

Today is the last day of Winter, but there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow.  We'll see!  A super walk on a very windy day.  Over 12,000 steps, or 8 k.
