A Ship Called Dignity

Saw this shot and it reminded me so much of the Deacon Blue song a Ship Called Dignity that I just had to post it.

These people are the unsung heroes around here and they are out in all weathers keeping the streets clean of all the little bits and pieces that the big road sweepers miss and they do a fantastic job in this area.

Whilst it is not direct official recognition I hope at least maybe one of them posts to blip and gets some sense of appreciation.

All too often we hear of councils wasting money on one thing and another and alot of this is based in fact but this is a sign of council money put to good use.
