Crocosmia and rower

I was trying to take a photo of this vibrant montbretia growing wild on the riverbank when the whole thing was enhanced by a rower speeding past. Well I thought it was an enhancement anyway.

After the weekend's celebrations it's time to get back to salad and fruit, up my step count and generally get back to normal. Whatever that is these days. Normal is so different from this time last year but I'm lucky that 2020 normal is still more than OK for me.

I've taken Flora round the rugby ground for exercise and this evening will see a kiltwalk practice. There's still a bit of birthday cake left to encourage me and as it has cream it really should be eaten today.
