Thanks to Chantler63 for hosting today's homophone challenge for Mono Monday, Stair or Stare.

We decided not to go into Stratford for a coffee today as it is a Bank Holiday, denoted by the cool, though at least not raining, weather. and we thought it could be busy.  So we each took our individual walks, Ann's being longer and further than mine naturally, and now we're getting ready for home-made coffee courtesy of Monsoon Estates, and day one of the US Open tennis tournament.
