Gaillardia or Blanket Flower

I only have one plant of Gaillardia and put it into a big pot on its own. It has flourished amazingly and has provided flowers almost non-stop since the spring. The bees love it.  The tiny buds are very charming when they first open up.

Our weather is already looking up with clouds and then quite a lot of sunshine and no rain. The temperatures remain cool for the season at 19C. It is rather lovely to enjoy the coolness!
