Alsfeld

After a great breakfast at our guesthouse we were on the road, with 750 km to go. Not too much traffic, even through the very long road works. We wanted to drive about 400km then stop for lunch and a look around a pretty town. I hit the jackpot here with Alsfeld, it felt like we’d stepped into a Brothers Grimm fairytale. Also had a very nice lunch. Managed to drive the rest with no great problems, and home by 7pm.
