As light as thistledown
The thistles have gone to seed. For some reason they are not as attractive as dandelion seed heads, but this one caught my eye as the tiny seeds were ready to disperse.
I did a gentle mile to Haughton Mains Farm and back. A chap stopped to talk photography with me. He and his wife are new in the area and are both keen. Heused to work as a pro. These days he has moved from Canon 1D to a Fuji camera but he has Leicas. I gave him details of photo groups locally.
Lesley and Steve rode here by bike this afternoon and we had a socially distanced chat in the garden. It was good to see them.
Arth has had a bad day and we don’t know why. He’s been irritable and swollen. A second walk was not attempted. We are resting quietly and not waking him.
