Preston Docks

Driving west today with no particular destination in mind, we ended up in Preston.  Preston Dock Marina to be precise.
Once Europe's largest inland dock, Preston Docklands made for a peaceful stroll in the Bank Holiday sunshine.
Since its closure as a port and the subsequent development, Preston Docks has become one of the prime residential areas in Preston
This is the Albert Edward basin named after Queen Victoria’s first son, Albert Edward the Prince of Wales.
