2 monro's in one day
Tried to get up early and managed to head out to the parking spot for the walk. Wasn’t too busy when we got there but it was packed when we got down. Decided to do two munros today. Hard start to the walk to get up to the saddle on the ridge between Stob Dubh and Stob Corie Raineach. Quick stop before starting the climb to Stob Dubh, reached the top of Buachaile Etive Beag and the weather started to close in with light rain and the wind picking up. By the time we started up the narrow ridge to the top of Stob Dubh it was a very strong wind moving us around, and heavy rain. Kilda wasn’t happy being up there but did very well once she was on the lead. We reached the top and stopped for a quick photo for Kilda’s first munro and then headed down to the saddle again. The weather cleared on the way down so we could have lunch by the cairn there and Kilda was happy doing zoomies. Decided to attempt the other munro even though we were a bit tired. It was an easier, shorter climb and the weather just held off while we were at the top. Long walk back down and decided to head back to the car park at the Glencoe lochan for the night. Much quieter there tonight but the midges were out in force.
