Be Still For Me
I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and switched my attention from the red hibiscus I had been photographing. The red feathers called out to be captured in the evening sunlight. I hoped the bird would remain still long enough for me to get set up and he did. Temperatures are much cooler today thank goodness, I almost feel chilly now; that's how accustomed to the heat I had become.
Still no rain though, and the water level in the lake is low enough to show encrusted rocks that are usually submerged (extra). The sunlight catching them was very bright.
