Mottled Clouds

Up well before sunrise this morning, so I headed out for an early walk over local fields.  The sunrise was better than of late, though still not what I would call spectacular.  Low cloud tends to limit the sun's ability to spread its light across the clouds in the sky, though as you can see from the main image it still provided plenty of variation.

The extra uses the 6:17 ratio framing so beloved of old panoramic film cameras and shows the moment of sunrise.

We took advantage of 'Eat out to help out' for the last time, enjoying a meal at the Anchor in Coven.  We then popped in to see L's cousin and catch up on family news.
