Things are Looking Up - Elevator or Stairs?

Alzheimer's Society Office, Commercial Street, Halifax

We are told that we will feel better if we use the stairs rather than the elevator, but some days travelling by lift is by far my preferred option.

Today at the Calderdale office we had an "emergency" situation with alarms being triggered throughout the building. The bank below our office was filled with "security smoke" making it appear as though the ground floor of the building was actually on fire.

After a few minutes stood on the snowy street corner in sub-zero temperatures we were allowed back into the building.

Chocolate was on the menu this afternoon.
