If I ignore her...

...perhaps she will go away.

There was a pair of juvenile female woodpeckers on the lawn first thing this morning searching for ants.  One found a promising ants nest and the hen pheasant rushed across to muscle in on the feast.  There was a bit of a stand-off, which surprisingly the woodpecker won.  Sadly the light was poor so this is the best shot I got, which is very grainy.
