inspired by lengthening days

The sun was shining after lunch so we decided to pop over to Sedbergh. The Howgills were covered in snow. So majestic. After a look round the quilting exhibition at Farfield Mill and the inevitable browse in a second hand bookshop, we made for home.
Dusk was falling as we approached South Kendal. Lights were twinkling and the fireside was in our thoughts.
Five-thirty, and still not dark. It's enough to lift the spirits.
