A sunny but hazy morning looking over our nearest town. A place near to our hearts.

With a thousand years of history and much character the town, situated on the River Kent, is often referred to as the gateway to the English Lake District.

South Lakes blippers will know the place from which this was taken. A prominent hill to the south of the town called The Helm. It makes a good hours walk on a fine early Autumn morning.
