that lighthouse again

...having left Tuscany in beautiful sunshine, it was a rude welcome back as we landed in the rain, sleet and snow at Gatwick yesterday evening. The weather was relentless all the way to Southampton and only marginally better for the rest of my journey home.

This morning, we went for a walk along Studland beach from Shell Bay, but the light was terrible and no interesting subjects revealed themselves. After lunch, the rain started again and looked as though it was in for the rest of the day. Luckily, at 4pm, it stopped and there were signs of a little brightness in the west. Consequently, it was my usual sprint down to Anvil Point for another shot of the lighthouse! I reckon there is still plenty of value to be had from this lovely spot...
