Poor Harvest

Our neighbour is harvesting the barley from the field behind our house. However, he is only harvesting the straw as the crop is so poor, ruined by the bad weather through the 'so-called' summer. The field of corn behind is likely to get the same treatment as it also very patchy and flattened in large areas. Reports suggest that this will be the worst harvest for many, many years.
