92 pies

Just finished reading this book by Tom Dickinson. His father, Matt, wrote a rather more famous book about the 1996 Everest climbing season where so many people died.

Anyway - Tom decided, having graduated, that he didn't really want to find a regular job, so in the style of Tony Hawks, he decided that he would join the '92 club' within one season. And have a pie at each ground - hence 92 pies.

Whilst we were not shortlisted for best pie - this honour went to Morecambe - the Shots have subsequently changed our supplier, and I have to say they are causing a little bit of a stir at the moment ;-)

However we did come 3rd in Tom's list of favourite clubs. I worry that it might be a bit of a sympathy vote as he watched us 4 times during this season, during which we lost 5-1 away at Chesterfield; 5-0 away at Bradford; 3-0 away at Millwall, and 2-1 at home against Dagenham!

Note that there is only one premiershit team on the list though. Life genuinely is so much more fun in the lower leagues. Well - except for at the Shots this season. Clearly!
