Not my most inspired blip to date by any means, but it's not really been a blipping day for me. It's the first day of half term so I wanted to spend it with H without me clicking away with the camera for once. I couldn't find any inspiration anywhere in the house, so one of my poor roses had to have a petal amputated. How awful for it.

We had a much needed lie in this morning (8.50 am before His Highness stirred from his pit), a lazy breakfast, and then we met up with my sister and two nephews.

This evening has been all about pancakes! I know, I know, it's not 'the day' until tomorrow, but we won't have time then so we moved it forward to today. After sampling several different toppings, H declared sugar and lemon to be the best.

He has good taste.
