Hanging kitchens of Appingedam...

Today we made a tour in the province Groningen, the province in the North-East of the Netherlands. We visited Appingedam, Delfzijl, the remains of Oterdum, Termunsterzijl and Winschoten. These are the "hanging" kitchens of Appingedam; when the warehouses were changed to residential houses there was no room for a kitchen, so they built a kitchen outside the building "hanging" above the canal...
