A day with Lexi

I taught Lexi how to sew today. She has been asking me to do so. She did amazing at it! She made a blanket for her doll and a bag for herself. We made homemade pizza for dinner. After dinner we took a walk in the rain. As we were walking one side of the sky was becoming lighter and the sun was trying to come out. I said to Lex a lot of times when that happens a rainbow appears. I barely got the words out of my mouth and we turned around and to our surprise was a beautiful rainbow that filled the sky. A perfect ending to a perfect day.

Lexi, grand-daughter of mine, she brings me such joy!
