St Paul's
Today I accompanied James and his class on a school trip to St Paul's Cathedral. I have been on many school trips over the years, but this is probably the best one I've done.
Once we got to Waterloo, we took a boat from the London Eye to the Millennium Bridge, and then walked across to St Paul's. Once inside, the children were given a great tour by a lady who managed to keep the children's focus throughout.. no mean feat when you've got 28 excited 6 and 7 year olds!
Photographs are not allowed inside, but we were allowed to take a few of the children whilst they acted out a little play about the Great Fire of London. I took my chance and managed to get a few sneaky shots of the amazing architecture. Then after lunch it was back over the bridge, onto the boat and finally the train back to Teddington. We were all tired, but pleased that the day had been a great success.
