a bit bracing!

We all needed some fresh air as we headed into Day Three of Half Term. It was toasty warm in our house which ill-prepared us for the bracing chill of the wind as we made our way along the canal.

I had at the last moment persuaded the boys to don coats - they who would quite merrily leave the house in pjs if allowed! They were most pleased with that bit of mothering.

Meanwhile Sienna decided that enough fresh air was enough and I had to agree.

We plan to warp up warm tomorrow when we head out for a day on the fells - the light might have a spring feel to it but the temperature certainly doesn't!
