A work in progress

I picked up an old picture frame from a charity shop and I'm in the process of 'up cycling' it for a present.

It will be for my grandmother who has a collection of family pictures in goldy frames. I will put a picture of her great- grandchildren in it as she doesn't have one yet.

The question is, how many more coats of paint and does it need any more decoration? You can overdo these things but I'm pretty sure a coat of lacquer will do and will have to do as her Birthday is this weekend.

I just hope she likes it, fingers crossed!
