Harvesting.

At last the farmer is harvesting the barley I took a picture of back in July, (Fields of Gold on the 23rd) unfortunately it's been a dull, and just after I took this, a rainy day. But I wanted to capture it being harvested. In the background you can see the monument on top of Coombe hill, we walk there often, but since lockdown it's been nearly impossible to park up there. We could walk from our house but it's too hard a walk for nearly 14 year old Kiri.

Took Kiri to the vets today, mainly to talk a few things over and book her in for her teeth to be cleaned, she's not the best at letting me scale them. She's in pretty good health for her age, but it'll still be a worry when she goes in.

Hayley's Covid test came back negative, which she was pretty confident that it would, so today she was at school and the children at their new childminders. Reggie only cried for about 50% of the day, which was better than she thought he would! Onwards and upwards from now on - We hope!

Went into town and did a few bits and bobs that needed doing, it's good to get outstanding jobs done. We can now do some finishing bits in the kitchen.
