Portrait lighting?

...well, the lady centre-frame exhibits the Rembrandt triangle... found outside Whealk Martyn China Clay museum.
The Truck (extras) gives some idea of the size of this hole in the  ground - not quite Death Valley league, but large, nonetheless.
