Shaken, not stirred
We had a ‘shoot out’ in surgery today!
I got a message from my practice manager last night to say there was a photographer coming in today, to take some photos of me and the team for a feature on our clinic for a local magazine.
His name? Roger Moore!
He was a lovely chap a Saint perhaps? and happily agreed to me getting this photo of him, taking a photo of me, taking a photo of a patient.
Initially, the patient refused, but when I explained it would only be the back of her head in shot for the magazine, she was happy. I also promised to blur her in this image to preserve anonymity (though she was also wearing a face covering), so again she was happy to consent.
Getting a decent photo of me also proved tricky not because I always have my eyes closed; we decided on my wearing a visor rather than a mask, but then had the issue of glare from the lights. A few changes in posture and positioning soon sorted that.
The PM is (by all accounts) happy with the images, so we just have to wait for the magazine to go to print now :-)
