Where have your petals gone?
Yesterday was the calm before the storm- today it's rained , heavier and heavier as the day went by
Neither the online Pilates class or the Zoom committee meeting begged to be blipped.
This cheery sunflower, which I can boast to growing from seed, stood out brightly against the driving the rain. Up close I can see the lambs have stuck their heads through the fence and eaten the petals on one side.

Cumbria has set up a new traffic team to encourage visitors to drive and park better on country roads. The problem has been 1) visitors to the Lake District who don't realise that no double yellow lines doesn't mean you can park there, and 2) "passing places" are not "parking places". There's been a huge problem on single track roads with parked cars leaving absolutely no where for oncoming vehicles to pass .
And finally- 30% of tourists at a naturist village in France have tested positive. The news items shows a poster outside stating that face coverings are mandatory.
