'The Kite Runner'- A book title for Wide Wednesday

The Kite Runner by Afghan-American author Khaled Hosseini was published in 2003. Subsequently it was made into a film in 2007.


This evening we enjoyed a lovely meal at a small beach bar on the the sand dunes. I spotted this kite and the two silhouetted figures from our table as the sun was setting .
