February Daily Challenge - Texture & Entrance

Day 11 of KaliBug's February daily challenge - Feb. 11th: Texture, and MissyMoo's February daily challenge (Entrance: Think of a door, a gate, an archway... a way of getting through to another place. Which entrance will you choose?).

Combining texture and entrance as a blip gave me a couple of thoughts - the texture of a door or door frame, the pattern of the glass in a door, even a keypad for a door. Eventually I went for one of my collection of keys that fit something somewhere. After all, a key enables you to make an entrance into a place by unlocking the door, so it gives you "a way of getting through to another place". This one is a very common type - it is cast rather than cut as it is so common and that leads to a lot of texture on its surface.
