Tuesday: Eek!

We enjoyed a great morning walk along the shores of Lake Muncho.  Mid morning, Urs, who owns the hotel where we were staying, and who is also a bush pilot, was flying 45 minutes into the Northern Rockies to pick up two hunters and a goat (deceased).  We went with him for the ride - it was terrifying and exhilarating in equal measure.

There are absolutely no roads into the area - we crossed high peaks (including Terminus Mountain, the last mountain in the Rockies) and trenches before landing on Denetiah Lake.  The hunters we picked up had spent ten days out there, camping in the backcountry.  There was a cabin for public use in emergencies but it was very basic.
