Same time next year

Well, I had my yearly lung test today and I am happy to report that after the considerable drop in lung capacity/volume at last years test, they seem to have held their own this year. So we will continue on with what capacity we have.

I always get fairly stressed leading up to the test, so I’m glad it’s behind me now, with a favorable result. We test again in a year unless there are issues that arise.

It’s been quite an emotional few years since discovering my lung problems. Emotional because my dad and my grandpa both died of lung failure. My doctor who believes in genetics, :) says the numbers are against me going in any other way. We tease and he reminds me that I’m genetically screwed.

As you can see, one of the delightful ways we deal with it, is with a dark sense of humor. Hey, dark humor is still humor!
