Cyclamen

The recent rain has stimulated a flush of flowering cyclamen, which seem to have appeared from nowhere - their presence is a sure sign that autumn's approaching. I love these flowers, whose delicacy belies their toughness.

The morning was spent doing an environmental appraisal of a garden in a Conservation Area of a nearby village. Not my usual sort of work, but it was quite enjoyable and for once I had it all written up by the end of the day!
