Fluttering by ...

I hacked our buddleia right back earlier in the year but it has come back with a vengeance - as tall as before but bushier and with bigger blooms and a noticeable scent.  It has been attracting mainly bees (and some very big ones today) but not as many butterflies as in previous years. However a few stopped by today. 

My Dad and M came for lunch which was nice - only the second time we've seen them since lockdown. 

Afterwards I went for a walk in Blackspot Wood and spotted another red squirrel.
