Mugdock

On Tuesday, C and D explored the WWII gun emplacements at Mugdock and were surprised by the amazing view across they city from that vantage point.  So today, I went with C to take another look.   It was indeed quite amazing - and hard work to pick out landmarks at such a distance, despite remembering to take the binoculars this time.

Rather than repeat C's blip, this is the pond near the visitor centre, where we often visited when kids were small, including cross country races, pond dipping and barbeques over the years.
