Abstract....

....Thursday. We were at the Hospital this morning to have Tom's lab work done and then he had an appointment with his internist, who's office is in the hospital as well. For the first time in over two months he didn't need a transfusion, so that was a wonderful surprise. We stopped at South Shore Park Beach on the way home so I could try out an idea for AbstractThursday. This is right out of the camera--no effects added--and is a small wave coming in over the stones at the edge of the sand. The movement of the water, as well as the sun coming through the water, gives the stones a little distortion as well as making the colors look more vibrant.
