Sparks

Well the internet problems we were having seemed to be related to rather a lot of on/off power to our house last week. Some days were worse than others, but on Thursday it was windy and the power was on and off all day, it was so bad I couldn't even get the computer logged on before the power flipped it off again - grrrr! After 2 calls to the power company a line-man arrived right at the end of the day to see what we were whining about .... "ah", said he, "there shouldn't be sparks coming from up there!" ... a quick fix and the problem was solved...unfortunately too late for my wifi router which got upset by the power troubles and exploded it's adapter.
How did we ever survive without wifi, I am wondering? It seems like I can't get anything done because getting to the computer on the desk is too much trouble (laziness), and getting a turn on it when I do make it out there is almost impossible (kids)...but today I was determined to get my blip back on so here's a back blip for last week and I'll blip later for today...phew
