Kayaking the Lewis River

This morning my friend K and I left very early to paddle before the heat of the day.  We paddled up the east fork of the Lewis River and had a picnic on a sand bar.  By the time I got back home it was pretty hot, I will not complain since I was on the water most of the day and the construction workers are paving the road out front today...that has to be a hot job and it is 90 some degrees today.  Off to fix dinner will catch up on journals later.  I am also researching about the pelicans and will post more photos when I get a change to photograph them again.
