X marks the ....

We will wait and see.  Two trees in the Devon bank behind our house are now sporting red crosses.  I am wondering if this means they are in trouble and will soon be receiving attention.

The back to school countdown continues for Leo - just a few more days of freedom now until he heads back to school on Monday. We’ve been watching videos from the school explaining how it will all work and where he will be based. The school is lucky as it is made up of several blocks of buildings, so they have been able to station all the different year bubbles in separate blocks.   We will soon see how well it all works. The school have put loads of work into their planning so fingers crossed all the hard work pays off. A new Head starts this term - what an introduction he will have.

It is similar with us at the Uni as a new VC just started this month after being recruited way before Covid appeared and made such a dramatic change to operating the Uni on campus.
