The Crossing
Another hot and humid day in the making (overnight rains don't help that much and today's "feels like" is predicted to hit 105F by noon) so I tried to get out early for a morning camera roll on CC Rider (short for Camera Cycle my rolling tripod). Its a good thing I'm in such excellent physical condition. At this point I'm hunkered down in the cool of our air conditioned Florida love shack and doubt I'll be venturing out very far afield.
I'm still in practice mode, shooting in full manual. After each set of shots I make a bet with myself about what I'll see on the display screen and if it's what I expected to get. At this point I'm right about the basic correct exposure most of the time (under/over) and one out of three clicks qualifies as "not half bad" - the official standard of the Pepper Patch. Next time out I'm going to pretend I'm shooting a roll of film and be more careful in my set up and the decisions I make about what and when to shoot.
*the extra is CC Rider, my rolling tri-pod.,
Stay safe folks and take care of each other ... and the adventure through the viewfinder continues.
